Beginning with “Woman, Woman” in 1967, Gary Puckett & the Union Gap’s first 5 releases went gold and he went on to sell more records in 1968 than any other recording act - including The Beatles. On the strength of “Young Girl”, “This Girl is a Woman Now”, “Lady Willpower” and “Over You”, he toured the world, performed at the White House for royalty and appeared on more than 50 television shows and specials. Gary and the Gap still play to packed houses everywhere from the US and UK to Australia, but we’ve managed to secure September 16th just for our friends in Dearborn!
Joining them will be PBS-TV star Chris Ruggiero. You may have seen Chris in Rolling Stone or on Good Morning America as his star is rising fast! Chris has been touring the country breathing new life into classic rock and roll tunes, working with the same arranger who created all the hits for Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons and selling out shows from New York to Vegas. His most recent tour hit 37 cities and he is back by overwhelming demand in Dearborn!
Leisa Parnham will perform her tribute to the legendary ladies of the 60s and Motown favorites The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy") will join them. Presented by Scotty Productions in association with Pop, Rock & Doo Wopp Live!
