Prep Time– 20 minutes

Cook Time– Between 12 and 15 minutes

Total Time– 35 minutes

Servings– Feeds 4 people

  • 1 & ½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 8 stalks parsley
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup wine
  • 2 pounds shrimp (size 21-26)
  • 1 & ½ sticks butter (melted)
  • half of a lemon
  • 3 tsp salt

First, butterfly the shrimp and place them in a bowl.  Pour wine onto shrimp with chopped parsley and salt to let marinate.  Squeeze a lemon in the shrimp mixture and cut thin slices to save for garnish. In a separate bowl mix together the butter, garlic, and breadcrumbs. In a 10”x 8” baking dish, pour shrimp and marinade, then arrange shrimp with tails facing upward.

Now take bread crumb mixture and place evenly on top of all shrimp with fingers and a spoon. Take slices of lemon from before and lay on top of shrimp, and place the dish in the oven at 425 degrees for 12 minutes. Put the oven on broil for 2 minutes when shrimp are almost finished, to allow breadcrumbs to slightly brown. Buon Apetito!
